The impasse in the Primary Schools’ Football tournament was resolved, CPS faced off with SJPS at the ET Willet Park, on Thursday morning-30th November.
The Charlestown Primary School footballers and their supporters were the ones celebrating after an exciting replay of the semifinal encounter in the ongoing Primary Schools Football tournament.
They once again engaged the St. James’ Primary School, once a protest was made after the initial semifinal encounter, which was won by the CPS team.
The CPS lads were aggressive at the top as usual, but this time around the SJPS team was equally aggressive and also defended stoutly, with Naije Webster being superlative in goal.
He made several great saves and could easily have challenged for the MVP spot.
At half-time, the score was locked nil-all.
Late in the second half Kardeem Taylor sneaked one in for CPS and the fans went wild.
Even though pressed by the SJPS offensive team, the CPS team held on to the slender lead right up to the final whistle

Tomorrow Saturday 2nd November will be the Grand Finals:
6 pm -SJPS v JLPS for 3rd place
7 pm CPS V STPS for the Championship Trophy
