BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 18TH 2013 (CUOPM) – The first of 15 new cruise ships to visit St. Kitts during the 2013/2014 cruise ship season docked at Port Zante on Sunday.
The 3,700-passenger Carnival Conquest arrived from San Juan with 3,001 passengers on its inaugural and single call.
Two other ships, the 3,013-passenger MSC Musica and the 1,875-passenger Horizon will make their inaugural calls on November 28th.
While the MSC Musica will make one call, the Horizon is scheduled to make some 21 calls during the 2013/2014 cruise ship service.
Other new ships are the 2,500-passenger Aida Bella (9 calls); the 2,500 Aida Luna ( 1 call); the 2,974-passenger Carnival Freedom (5 calls); the 3,690-passenger Carnival Breeze (5 calls); the 3,325-passenger Disney Magic ( 2 calls); the 4,100-passenger Norwegian Epic (1 call) and the 4,941-passenger Norwegian Breakaway (2 calls).
Other new ships are the 450-passenger Albatros (1 call); the 450-passenger Azamara Quest (1 call); the 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor (6 calls); the Costa Mediterranea (12 calls); the 2,076-passenger Legend of the Seas (4 calls); the 624-passenger Nippon Maru (1 call); the 446-passenger Saga Ruby (1 call) and the 706-passenger Saga Sapphire (1 call).
The new ships will join the 3,838-passenger Adventure of the Seas (10 calls); the 3,597 passenger Azura (9 calls); The 3,700-passenger Carnival Valor (52 calls); the 2,850-passenger Celebrity Equinox (6 calls); the 3,030-passenger Celebrity Reflections (1 call); the 2,850-passenger Celebrity Silhouette (10 calls); the 2,450-passenger Celebrity Summit (13 calls); the 3,100-passenger Emerald Princess (9 calls) and the 3,840-passenger Explorer of the Seas (3 calls).
Calls will also continue to be made during the 2013/2014 season by the 2,500-passenger Jewel of the Seas (31 calls); the 2,446-passenger Grandeur of the Seas (1 call); the 1,627-passenger Maasdam (2 calls); the 4,370-passenger Independence of the Seas (13 calls); the 2,272-passenger Oceana (2 calls); the 1,928-passenger Oriana (1 call); the 3,090 Queen Mary 2 (1 call); the 1,506-passenger Thomson Dream (7 calls); the 3,100-passenger Ventura (10 calls) and the 2,435-passenger Vision of the Seas (1 call).
Also calling are the 2,272-passenger Adonia; the 1,375-passenger Boudicca); the 2,500-passenger Brilliance of the Seas; the 67-passenger Le Ponant; the 1,627-passenger Maasdam; the 112-passenger Sea Dream 1); the 200-passenger Seabourn Legend, Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Pride; the 450-passenger Seabourn Sojourn; the 315-passenger Silver Cloud; the 540-passenger Silver Spirit; the 400-passenger Silver Whisper; the 170-passenger Star Clipper; and the 308-passenger Wind Surf.
