CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS, DECEMBER 17TH 2014 (CUOPM) – First former’s of high schools in Nevis will get their long awaited laptops in time for Christmas.
Federal Nevisian Minister and Parliamentarian, the Hon. Patrice Nisbett announced in a posting on his Facebook Page that he will keep his promise made in his Budget presentation on December 12th.
“All First former’s will receive their laptops tomorrow 18th December at two locations. The first location is the Federal Office at 10 a.m. and the second location is the grounds of the Gingerland Police Station at 1 pm,” said Minister Nisbett, who holds the portfolios of Foreign Affairs, Homeland Security, Immigration, Justice and Legal Affairs.
“A caring and hardworking government at your service ready to take the Federation onward and upward,” said Minister Nisbett, who represents the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) and who joined the Federal Government following the January 2010 General Election.
Mr. Nisbett, who will be accompanied by Minister of Youth and Information Technology, the Hon. Glenn Phillip, has asked his FaceBook contacts to “spread the information so all 1st form students can receive their laptops in time for Christmas.
