Fashion Show dubbed ‘We Love You Nigella’ deemed successful

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- A fashion show was held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at ‘Gateways Beach Bar’ at Cades Bar, Nevis in honor of the late Nigella Browne. The event, dubbed, ‘We Love You Nigella’ was organized by models of the ‘Greene House Modeling Agency’, to honor the late Nigella Browne who recently lost her life in a tragic car accident.

Elegance, grace and beauty ripped the runaway in front of a small but appreciative crowd. Both males and females models showcased unique and creative designs by some of Nevis’ top local designers. Attendees were blown away by the models while at the same time enjoying the beautiful view of the sunset.

The event saw local designs by Petal Newton with her design, ‘Frisky Fashions’, ‘Riff Raff Designs’, ‘V Wear’ by Vaughn Anslyn, designs by Ms. Esther Brookes and one of Nevis’ local stores, ‘La Paloma Fashion Source’, owned and operated by Ms. Tyreka Powell.

The show also saw performances by Nayala Daniel who paid a special tribute to Nigella.

Organizers expressed thanks to the designers, the owner of Gateways Beach Bar, Mr. Stedroy Maynard, Ms. Tonya Powell and all other persons who made the event successful. Special thanks to Ms. Chantal Miller who did a brilliant job hosting the show.
