Faces of Youth Month Contestants Launched

Charlestown-Nevis-Seven of the contestants for the Faces of youth month contest were officially launched on Thursday 18th February.
The contestants were afforded the opportunity to introduce themselves in the picturesque setting at Rodney Fleming’s Nursery, situated at Cades Bay.
Coordinator of the Youth Department on Nevis, Miss Zahnela Claxton, welcomed family members and friends of the contestants, who showed up as a demonstration of support and reminded all present that two of the contestants will be chosen at the much anticipated show down at NEPAC on the evening of Saturday 27th February.
The chosen male and female, will be used as the ‘faces of youth month,’ designated for April and their photos will be utilized in all relevant advertisements and promotions by the Youth Department for the remainder of the year.
The two individuals will also be expected to be featured in radio, television and other media promotions.
The contestants then confidently introduced themselves:

One of the males was unavoidably absent but will be introduced to the public at another time.
The youngest contestant is 16 years old and the oldest is 21 years of age.
Based on the confidence level demonstrated, it is obvious that the evening of Saturday 27th February will be a really special one.
