The 19th annual Eddy Caines Football program concluded on Friday, July 26th, with a brief ceremony. Eddy Caines himself chaired the proceedings and once again thanked the sponsors, coaches, volunteers, parents, and children for uniting to make the program the continued success that it is. He also stated that next year’s 20th-anniversary program will be ‘huge.’
Sports officer Aljay Newton, representing the Ministry of Education and Sports, congratulated Caines on his longstanding commitment to the program and the development of the youngster.
He also advised the young participants to continue to build on the skills taught, as there are many lucrative incentives to be achieved through football.
After the speeches, the children all received a football to take home and were treated with snacks.
