The youthful Youth and Sports Eagles, after their impressive showing in the St. Kitts A Division tournament, continued their winning ways in the Malcolm Guishard Basketball league, on the evening of Thursday 18th July.
This time around, they came up against the more seasoned and experienced CG Massives on their home court and guess what? They beat them at their own game!
The match started quietly, with Eagles leading by two points at the end of the first quarter. Then Massives asserted their authority by taking a five points lead at the end of the second quarter. The score line at half time was 38 to 35 in favour of the CG Massives.
Eagles bounced back to lead in the third quarter by four points and then totally dominated the final quarter, when it really mattered, by all of 13 points.
