Javon ABBA JR Richards and Earl PANCHO Morton, two of the officials at the Drag Racing Unit on Nevis, recently informed that there will indeed be another exciting Drag Race event upcoming.
As a matter of fact, the much anticipated event will be held on Sunday 3rd February, at the St. James’ raceway.
The meet will run from 1 pm to about 8 pm and will include races in the following classes:
13 seconds; 12 seconds; 11 seconds; 10 seconds; 9 seconds and there is a huge possibility that there will also be an event for the Outlaw class as well.
Some of the attractive prizes include:
$3,500 for the winner of the Outlaw class; $2,000.00 for the second placer and $2,000.00 for the winner of the 9 seconds class.
Registration of cars is set at $150.00 for the regular classes and $250.00 for the Outlaw class.
Spectators will pay $25.00 for adults and $10.00 for children, while persons interested in getting into the pit area, will pay $50.00.
Added attractions for the day, will include, Food and drinks in galore; music by a popular DJ and stunt bike riding by motorcyclists from St. Kitts and Nevis.
Both gentlemen used the opportunity to urge the general public to show up early for what promises to be an exciting day at the track.
