Basseterre, St. Kitts (January 20, 2014) – Digicel St Kitts & Nevis is keen on making meaningful contributions in the development of our nation and its children. The morning of Friday, January 17 proved just that, by which the telecommunications provider awarded Aldeen Isaac with The Digicel Award for the Best Results in CAPE Communication and Caribbean Studies for 2013.
Aldeen, who recently completed studies at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, accepted her award at a small handing over ceremony at Digicel’s Corporate office on Port Zante, accompanied by proud parents Apostle Allan and Prophetess Debbie Isaac of the Rivers of Living Water Christian Centre.
Aldeen received a trophy and a Nokia Lumia 520 Windows Smartphone. She was extremely happy to receive her gifts and explained it was not an easy task achieving such academic success. “It was a rough year for me because I took up an extra subject and had to juggle my time, but my hard work paid off and I am very happy for that” she explained.
Her parents, who are Ministers, explained how proud they were of her, “she has always been a brilliant kid, from pre-school straight up to high school she always came first” were her father’s remarks.
Aldeen’s mother also expressed how proud she was of this recent success “She has always been very consistent and focused in school – whatever she wants, she works hard for. She balances her time very well as she has many other extra-curricular activities which includes dancing. It is clear that she is determined to excel and we are very proud of her.
The national CAPE Scholar Aldeen said she has hopes of attending University very soon and already has a plan for her future career.
Digicel St. Kitts and Nevis heartily congratulates Aldeen Isaac and her parents for a job well done and wishes her all the best in her future endeavours. Aldeen Isaac – You Are Extraordinary.
