On Friday, the West Indies under 19 women lost the first match of the series against the USA under 19 women. The USA team batted first and scored 106 for 8 in their 20 overs, with Singh contributing 29 runs and Kolan 22 runs. Selena Ross took 3 wickets for 12 runs and Jahzara Claxton took 3 for 20 runs
The West Indies team could only manage 69 for 9 in their innings, with Ramnath scoring 29 runs and Harricaran 20 runs.
In the second match on Monday, the West Indies women bounced back and levelled the series. The USA team was bowled out for 65 runs, and the West Indies women reached 69 for 2 in just 13 overs to secure victory.
The third match is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday the 24th of July.
