Highlights International trumped up another win in the ongoing T-20 tournament being hosted by the Nevis Cricket Association. It was game two, on Sunday 15th November, played at the ET Willet Park and they came up against the Easterns team.
Highlights won the toss and batted first and were off to a flying start, with Mikyle Louis thumping the ball around the Park and the more sedate youngster, Lyte Browne, pushing the ball around for the ones and twos, before he was unfortunately run out. Older brother Jeremiah Louis had a brief but explosive inning and the Highlights team got to 161 for 6 from their 20 overs.
Easterns were set back early in their response, as CPL renowned Kezron Archibald found pads and then timber. Veteran Sterling Marshal tried to bring some semblance of respectability to the total, but after he departed, the innings took a downward spiral and the Easterns team eventually held out for the 20 overs, getting to 90 for 9.
