The Village Premier League action continued at the Hardtimes playing field on Sunday, 30th June. In the first match of the day, the Guyanese faced off against the school boys.
Rakeesh made his intentions clear when he said, “I will play them like a big man!”
The Guyanese batted first and aggressively attacked the bowling throughout the innings, reaching an impressive 119 runs at the end of 12 overs.
In response, the school boys struggled and only managed to reach 52 for 8 at the end of their 12 overs.
