As the Village Premier League (VPL) action continued at the Hard Times playing field, on Sunday 23rd June, two hitherto undefeated teams faced off in an exciting contest.
The Guyanese came up against the Bushwhackers.
The Bushwhackers opted to bat first and were off to an enterprising start, with Carlon Smithen and Jelani Manners, hitting the ball to all parts of the park.
They eventually got to an imposing 128, with Smithen scoring an explosive 78 runs.
The Guyanese also responded in kind, led by Rakeesh and Anand, but eventually got to 105.

Bushwhackers won by 23 runs.
