On Sunday, March 3rd, a good number of people gathered at the ET Willet Park to witness the highly anticipated cricket match between division one teams: Highlights 1 and Brown Hill.
Highlights batted first and had a great partnership between Mikyle Louis and Lhyte Browne, which resulted in a total of 215 for 2. Louis scored yet another century while Browne was unfortunately run out.
In response, the Brown Hill team chased aggressively, with Kofi James leading the way with a half-century and Shelton Forbes securing a half-century of his own.
It was a nail-biting finish with seven runs required from the last over.
Esroy Powell hit the second ball of the over over extra cover to seal the deal for Brown Hill.
The final scores were Highlights One-215 for 2 in 33 overs and Brown Hill-218 for 5 in 32.4 overs.
Brown Hill won by 5 wickets.
