CPS LONG DISTANT RUNNERS TAKE THE SPOTLIGHT

The horns were blaring; the sizeable spectatorship was shouting to the top of their lungs and there was a carnival like atmosphere at the Charlestown Primary School, on Friday 3rd February.
That was the day that the school hosted the cross country events for the intermediate and junior boys and girls.
Zidane Hull came out tops in the intermediate boys’ event, while Anihra Wilkes ran a determined race to edge out an equally determined Anjonique Newton
For the juniors, C’Jahnte Griffin took gold for the boys’ event and Shanae Grant took gold for the girls.
