The Charlestown Primary School hosted it first ever road relay event, on Friday 19th January.
The school would have hosted cross country events previously, but would never have hosted a road relay event.
It was a lengthy process, which commenced at around 10 am that morning and continued throughout the afternoon, as the children were placed into various classes, based on their ages.
From all reports, everything went well and the youthful athletes thoroughly enjoyed the experience, which attracted, as per usual, many parents, siblings and other family members.
The final scores for the houses involved, were as follows:
Greenhouse 29 points
Red house 25 points
Blue house 24 points
