Bio of Contestant Number 4 for the Miss Farm Pageant– Miss Shoya Lawrence
Well known in the Nevisian community for her former starring role as host of the television programme “Chatterbox”, Shoya Lawrence is destined for greatness.
At an early age, Shoya proved that she was, among other things, talented as she was crowned Miss Talented Youth in 1999. Her love for pageants and that desire to showcase her many talents grew stronger, so strong that she entered the 2002 Miss Charlestown Secondary School House Pageant.
Today, the young Burden Pasture resident is employed by the Nevis Island Administration as a Youth Development Officer and has hopes of attaining a university level education.
