Charlestown -Nevis-Congratulations are in order for the class of 2023, who successfully qualified as Emergency Medical Response practitioners.
On Thursday 9th March, 25th. Participants received their certificates of completion from a three-week course in the delivery of Emergency Medical response training.
Permanent secretary in the Ministry of Health et al, Ms. Shelisa Martin -Clarke, hosted the proceedings and special guest, Minister of Health, Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, presented to each participant their certification.
Mrs. Anne Highly Gergel, Facilitator- Nurse paramedic from the USA, gave an overview of the training and two participants Mr. Timothy Martin and Mr. Kenyetta Sporrod, spoke on behalf of the group sharing words of gratitude for their experience and being fortunate to have been afforded such training.
Ms. Roxanne Brookes President of the Nevis Red Cross branch brought the proceedings to a close with the vote thanks.
The class of 2023 presented each facilitator with a gift bag full of love and gratitude.
On behalf of the Ministry of Health, Hon Jahnel Nisbett presented Mrs. Ann Highly Gergel and Ms. Roxanne Brookes, Plaques in recognition of their contribution to imparting their time, knowledge and professionalism offered during this cycle of the Emergency Medical Response training.
