Christopher Martin Added to the 2013 St. Kitts Music Festival Lineup
BASSETERRE (18TH June, 2013): Singing sensation Christopher Martin joins a spectacular lineup of reggae music on the 17th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival, which takes place on Thursday June 27th to Saturday June 29th, 2013.
Martin replaces Tessanne Chin, who recently informed the St. Kitts Music Festival Executive Committee that she is unable to perform on the June event.
Chairperson of the Talent Committee of the St. Kitts Music Festival, Adrian Lam, while expressing regrets that Tessanne Chin will not be available, pointed out that the addition of Martin enhances the Friday night lineup, which also includes reggae legend Beres Hammond, dancehall icon Shaggy and emerging star Konshens.
“Christopher Martin is one of the most sought after performers on the Jamaican music landscape,” Lam said. “Among his contemporaries there is no comparison to Christopher’s vocal strength, outstanding stage performance and his ability to have patrons singing his every tune.”
Christopher Martin has greeted the world with chart-smashing singles such as Paper Loving, Cheaters Prayer, Jamaican Girl, Nah Go Change, Take My Wings, Tonight, Giving It, Driver and Gallis.
Multiple award winning singer/songwriter and popular American musician Lionel Richie will headline the 17th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival. Also on this year’s impressive lineup is Superblue (Austin Lyons), Fay-Ann Lyons, Bunji Garlin and Andy Narell featuring Relator
