The 4th annual Christena Memorial Swim Camp began at Yachtsman’s Beach on Tuesday, July 30th. This camp is sponsored by the Nevis Island Administration in collaboration with Swim to Win. Terri Andrews, the chief coordinator, mentioned that forty-five swimmers have registered for this year’s camp.
Sessions will be held twice daily, in the morning and afternoon, and the camp is scheduled to conclude on Friday, August 2nd. All the instructors are professionally trained by Anne McLindon, a coach from the USA.
The program’s main goal is to provide the children of Nevis with the opportunity to learn water safety.
