Chelston Hanley of Newtown, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of larceny, which he committed on February 1, 2024. Mr. Hanley pleaded guilty to the charge on January 20, 2025, and was sentenced on January 27, 2025.
Initially facing a three-year sentence, Mr Hanley was granted a one-year deduction for his guilty plea, along with an additional six months deducted for time already served on remand. As a result, he will serve a total of eighteen months in prison. His sentencing was handed down by Her Honour Rhonda Nisbett-Browne at the Magistrate’s Court in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
