The Charles E. Mills Secondary School, was the ultimate winner, after three days of grueling competition, in the annual federation Inter High Schools athletic championship, which was held last weekend, at the Kim Collins Stadium.
The CEMSS athletes excelled to capture their sixth consecutive title.
Quite a number of Nevisians were part of the huge crowd that witnessed the culmination of the mega event, on Sunday 31st March.
Among those present and assisting in the presentation ceremony, were: Premier Mark Brantley; Hon. Troy Liburd and Permanent Secretary, Mr. Wakeley Daniel.
From a Nevisian perspective, the Gingerland Secondary School athletes gave it their all, despite the fact that they did not collect a gold medal, but the Charlestown Secondary School athletes were particularly exciting.
CSS won 21 gold medals and really performed superbly but eventually had to settle for third place.
