BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 1ST 2013 (CUOPM) – Two prominent Caribbean personalities will be in St. Kitts and Nevis this weekend to participate in a high-level retreat for Cabinet Ministers and their Permanent Secretaries.
Former Barbados Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Owen Arthur and former Jamaica Ambassador and Cabinet Secretary,
Mr. Carlton Davis are facilitators for the Friday 2nd and Saturday3rd event at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
Ms. Thelma T. Richards, Human Resource Manager in the Department of Human Resource said the two-day retreat will be held under the theme, ‘Strengthening the Political-Administrative Interface: A high Level Retreat for Ministers and Permanent Secretaries’
“The planned sessions will seek to build camaraderie and synergy among the group, focus on effective communication necessary to minimize conflict, improve the awareness of performance management in the Public Service, inform the governance and institutional development divisions and strengthen the center of governance in St. Kitts and Nevis,” Ms. Richards told the Communications Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister (CUOPM).
