Curtis Morton:
The first ever remote control car racing event, was held at the St. James’ Raceway on Sunday 17th June.
Some 17 cars were pitted against each other in three different categories:
- Nickel-metal hydride batteries/gas
- 2s lipo batteries
- 6s lipo batteries
After an intense battle between the drivers in each category and the dust cleared, the following winners were declared:
Category one: Lionel Mills
Category two: Kaylan
Category three: Chazz Taylor
For a first time event, it was well organized and wooed the hearts of the many spectators on hand.
It is a must see event in the near future and should be around for a long time.
