CALYPSO AND NEW VISION HAVE EARLY WINS AS T-20 TOURNAMENT BOWLS OFF

The much anticipated T-20 tournament, being hosted by the Nevis Cricket Association, bowled off on Saturday 31st October, at the VOJN grounds.

In the only match of the day, Easterns engaged Calypso.

The Easterns line up included, very interestingly, Rev. P. Allister Rawlins, Anglican Priest.

Easterns batted first and chalked up  153 for 6 from their 20 allotted overs.

Sheldon Browne was in a no-nonsense mood for an impressive 69 not out.

The Calypso men, however, were calculated in their response, led by a half a ton by Duan Webbe and 40 from Shevon Jeffers, before he was run out, complements of Rev. P. Allister Rawlins!

They required less than 16 overs to overhaul the target
