Breaking News: Man dies on the porch of a NIA office in Charlestown

(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- Sometime after 8:00 a.m. today, Monday, July 6, 2015 police officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, and medical personnel were summoned to the office of the Government Information Technology, which is located on Happy Hill Drive, Charlestown.
This came after a male identified as ‘Clinton’ had collapsed on the balcony of the building.
News reaching this publication indicates that workers in the building saw the deceased standing on the front porch when they arrived at work this morning.
News further stated that shortly after their arrival, the man collapsed. Emergency Medical technicians were summoned to the scene; but upon arrival, the male was found not to be breathing.
Police were later called to the scene. One officer indicated to this media house, that the cause of his death is unknown, but they were treating the area as a crime scene until investigation proves otherwise.
At about 9:23 a.m. District Medical Officer, Dr. Chandy Jacob arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead. He told this media house that an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death.
