Bombo Hits 60

On Saturday, May 25th, former super batsman for Nevis and the Leeward Islands, Clifford BOMBO Walwyn, celebrated his 60th birthday in style, surrounded by family members and friends. He was royally honoured at a celebration at the Jessups community centre. Various individuals spoke glowingly of the little ‘shots master’, who has entertained crowds around the region with his elegant array of shots. Speakers at the event included Hon. Eric Evelyn and Nevis Cricket chief, Carlisle Powell, along with several of his former teammates.
