Coach of the Bath United Football club, Alex Claxton has revealed that the long serving Football club will be hosting a day of fun activities at the Bath Village Playing field on Monday 5th June.
According to Claxton, although it is organized by his club, participation and support is welcomed from individuals, teams and clubs, all across the island.
The action will commence at 1 pm and will involve a host of events which include: Domino; biking; Track and Basketball.
For the Domino competition, it will be two players per team, while the track event will feature athletes competing in the 60 meters dash and male and female relays. The biking aspect will be a bike wheeelying contest and the Basketball will see competitors pitting their skills against each other in a free throw competition.
Football will be the main focus of the day, however, as Upper and Low Bath will continue their rivalry and this will be followed by the feature match of the day between Village Super stars and Bath United under 17 teams.
Claxton also pointed out that there will be music throughout the day from a popular DJ and there will be a well-stocked bar with food and drinks, on sale.
According to Claxton it is one fun filled way of keeping the community unified and happy.
