The local Football league continued at the ET Willett Park on Sunday 5th February with arch rivals Hard Times and CCC Bath United, sparring off against each other.
The Hard times men scored very early in the game and held on to that slim lead, right up to the half time whistle.
The CCC Bath team appeared more energized and hungry for a goal at the start of the second half. Surprisingly, it was the Hard Times team which pounced on an opportunity to score and took it in grand style.
Make that 2 goals to nil in their favour.
However, with the minutes ticking away in the game, a resurgent Bath team, burst the Hard Times team’s bubble by scoring two goals in quick succession.
The hard fought game ended in an honourable draw with a scoreline of 2 goals –all.
