President of the Church Ground Basketball Association, Wanda Parry-France, has indicated that following the under 25 Parish league hosted by her Association, there will be more exciting Basketball action coming to the courts at Church Ground, this coming Saturday evening.
It will be a St. Kitts versus Nevis match, as a visiting club from St. Kitts, the ACHIEVERS, will be bringing over two teams.
At 7 pm The Achievers under 16 team, takes on an under 16 team from Nevis and immediately following that game, the under 25 Achievers team will engage a Nevis under 25 team, which has been selected based on performances from the recent local tournament.
Wanda is urging the sporting public to come out to witness the games and support the youthful basketballers.
She is confident that there are young players on Nevis who have the skill set to make it big in the sport, but that they need the support from the members of the general public.
The action is free of cost and there will be the famous hotdogs and drinks on sale.
