The much-anticipated Nevis Knockout challenge has been postponed.
The chief coordinator of the event, Ms. Sheilagh James, broke the sad news on Friday 15th September.
She noted that there were major concerns for safety, with the pending threat of Tropical storm Fiona and so the preliminary rounds which were previously scheduled for this coming Saturday 17th September, have been pushed back to Saturday 24th September.
The quarter-final rounds will now be held at 7 am on Saturday 1st October and the semi-finals will be held that same day at 5 pm.
The grand finals will still take place on Saturday 8th October.
She was however pleased to announce that the T-shirts for the event have already been secured and everything is in place for the grand challenge, once the weather holds fair.
