Athletics : Immortals Track Club Hosts Athletic Training Program

Coach Royston Queeley and his support staff at the Immortals Track Club are currently hosting a two-week athletic training program at the Nevis Athletic Stadium.

The sessions started on Monday, July 14th and will end on Friday, July 26th.

According to Queeley, he was motivated to host this training program after receiving specialized training in Jamaica a few years ago.

The children will be taught basic track skills, including starts, posture, arm and leg movements, baton passing, and more.

Queeley, who is the coach of the Charlestown Primary School, emphasized that the children represent various parts of the island, not just his school.

There are 52 registered children, each for $75.00.

Queeley also mentioned that interested parents can still register their children for the upcoming final week and made a plea for sponsors to support the program.
