On Friday 28th April, the general quiet of Charlestown was shattered by the blaring of horns and loud, pulsating music from a DJ’s collection.
It was soon discovered that the Charlestown Primary School was hosting a motorcade, in celebration of their convincing victory at the 2023 Interprimary Championship, held on Wednesday 5th April.
The orange shirts and flags were prominently displayed and the children and supportive adults danced and waved from the dozens of participating vehicles.
