The Gingerland Secondary School held its annual sports meet on Thursday, February 13th, at the Nevis Athletic Stadium. The distinguished guests were the brother-sister duo, Romaine and Sheldon Clarke.
Athletes competed in various races, including the 100, 200, 400, 800, 1200, and 1500 meters and the 4×100 and 4×400 meters relays. The competitions were intense, featuring several grudge matches for bragging rights.
After the well-organized event, Blue House emerged as the champion, achieving an impressive 263 points. The final standings were as follows:
– Blue House: 263 points (Champions)
– Red House: 185 points
– Green House: 189 points (Defending Champions)
