On Monday, March 31st, the steering committee for the Interprimary Meet 2025 hosted a media day in the conference room of the Disaster Management Office.
During the event, important information was shared regarding the upcoming mega event scheduled for Wednesday, April 2nd, at the Nevis Athletic Stadium. This day has been declared a public half-holiday.
Speakers at the head table included Nichola Fraser, co-chair of the Interprimary Meet Committee; Jamir Claxton, Principal Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sports; Hon. Troy Liburd, Minister of Sports; Rachael Whitfield of BONI; Riguel Gomez of Gulf Insurance; and Inspector Valentine Hodge.
Among the distinguished guests were this year’s patrons, Taij Griffin and Ronell Pemberton. The athletes also participated in a “conversations” segment during the media launch, which was effectively chaired by Aljay Newton, the Deputy Director of Sports.
