Following hot on the heels of a Domino competition organized in June of this year, in honour of Fathers’ Day, the Gender Affairs Department, in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development, hosted another Domino competition, this time in honour of International Men’s day, observed during the month of November.
It came down to the grand finals between V&J’S Bar and Humble. The V&J’S Bar emerged as convincing winners and was duly awarded the coveted grand trophy and other winnings.
The Humble team placed second and the Bath Revellers placed a credible third.
The prize-giving ceremony was held at the GMBC building, located at Government Road, on the evening of Saturday 7th December.
One of the main sponsors of the event, the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis, was represented by Credit Analyst, Miss Corliss Wilkinson, who not only addressed the gathering but assisted chief coordinator of the event, Pastor Wayne Maynard, in presenting the prizes and trophies.
