Traffic Enforcement Operation Leads to 29 Tickets Issued in Nevis.

**Basseterre, St. Kitts** – The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is actively working to enhance road safety through targeted traffic enforcement operations.

On March 3, 2025, between 6:50 a.m. and 7:52 a.m., officers from the Task Force Unit, the Traffic Department, and the Beat and Patrol Unit conducted a traffic enforcement operation along Samuel Hunkins Drive in Charlestown.

As a result of this initiative, twenty-nine (29) traffic tickets were issued for various offences, including:

– Thirteen (13) tickets for driving without a seatbelt.
– Ten (10) tickets for having dark-tinted windows.
– Three (3) tickets for passengers not wearing seatbelts.
– Two (2) tickets for children not wearing seatbelts.
– One (1) ticket for driving or using an unlicensed vehicle.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force remains committed to enforcing traffic laws to ensure the safety of all road users.
