Basseterre, St Kitts, June 23, 2020 – Three more Haitians have been apprehended in the Keys Village area of St Kitts in the past few hours.
According to reliable information, police and soldiers caught one Monday night and another mid-morning Tuesday and at least one other remain in the hills.
There is still no official word from the authorities in Basseterre on the operation which began around mid-day Monday when members of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St Kitts-Nevis Defence Force mounted the joint operation in Keys Village. Witnesses watched and video-taped the operation as law enforcement officers brought the Haitians down from the hillside.
