The St. Kitts & Nevis Aquatics Federation (SKNAF) Has Named Two Athletes to Compete At The 2025 CARIFTA Swimming Championship In Port Of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago

**ST. KITTS & NEVIS** – The 38th CARIFTA Aquatic Championships will be held at the National Aquatics Centre in Balmain Couva, Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago. Athletes will compete in both preliminaries and finals from April 19 to April 22, 2025.

Troy Nisbett and Skyla Connor have been selected to represent the Federation at this prestigious event. Last year, the same duo made their debut at the CARIFTA Aquatic Games, and they are both eager to return.

National swim coach James Weekes expressed his excitement about having Troy and Skyla represent the federation in swimming, a sport that is rapidly gaining popularity both locally and regionally. “We are putting forth our utmost effort with the resources available to prepare them for this highly competitive discipline within their respective age groups. We wish them the best of luck as they compete against the top athletes in the Caribbean region,” he stated.

The four-day CARIFTA Aquatics Championship is an international age-group competition that brings together athletes from across the Caribbean to compete in various aquatic disciplines. The event will include competitions in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle across different distances.
