The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force and the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force are proud to announce the successful commencement of the second annual Crime Intervention Summer Soccer Camp, a dynamic initiative organized by our security forces’ football team. The camp, which runs from July 15 to 26 and targets children ages 7 to 17, serves as both a constructive summer activity and a proactive measure in crime prevention.
This program is being facilitated by an esteemed group of professional football coaches from England and the United States, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to the youth of our community. The camp offers an exceptional opportunity for participants to develop their football skills while instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and respect.
The Crime Intervention Summer Soccer Camp is held under the generous sponsorship of the Ministry of National Security, the Ministry of Sports, and countless other private sector partners, whose support has been instrumental in providing the necessary resources and infrastructure. The camp’s activities are designed not only to engage the youth in sports but also to educate them about the importance of making positive life choices and staying away from criminal activities.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force remains committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment for our young people. Through initiatives like this summer camp, we aim to build stronger community relations and promote a brighter future for the youth of our nation. We extend our gratitude to all participants and their parents, coaches, sponsors, and volunteers who have made this event possible and look forward to witnessing the positive impact it will have on our community.
