From June 3 to 7, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force along with soldiers from the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force are taking part in an important Crime Scene Management Training. The training is being led by Major Kerry Waterman, Director of Policing and Risk Management at the Regional Security System (RSS), and Dr Andre Clarke, Chief of Operations – Intelligence at the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (CARICOM IMPACS).
The opening ceremony, held on June 3, 2024, was attended by several notable figures including Permanent Secretary Glenroy Blanchette from the Ministry of National Security, National Security Advisor Dr. Lionel Rawlins, Deputy Commissioner of Police Cromwell Henry, and Assistant Commissioners of Police Andre Mitchell and Travis Rogers. Also present were Force Chaplain Erickson Cumberbatch, Forensic Director La Toya Lake-Marshall, and other high-ranking officers of the #RSCNPF.
This training marks a significant advancement in our ability to effectively manage and preserve crime scenes, ultimately contributing to safer communities for everyone.
