It is obvious that Miss Angelisa Freeman is a COOL RULER.
Just observing her as she assisted the children at the Table Tennis camp, held at the Bath Village Community Center, during the course of this week, it is obvious that she is very talented, but is a quiet and humble individual.
In speaking to NTV Sports, the school teacher by profession, indicated that in her earlier years, she would have played some Netball and dabbled in some Athletics.
However, during one summer vacation, her parents sent her and her siblings to a summer camp and there she was introduced to the game.
The rest is history. She has won several local competitions and has travelled widely in order to represent the federation at certain prestigious games.
She plans to go on playing and her ultimate goal is to win a major tournament someday.
She used the opportunity to admonish the children to take the sport seriously, as there are scholarships available to deserving children.
Vice President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Table Tennis Association, Mr. Urban Freeman, in speaking of her, indicated that she can beat almost all of the male players with the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, once she puts her mind it.
