The Department of Youth, Nevis, in collaboration with Swim to Win, will be hosting Nevis’ first Youth Beach Games on Monday, April 5th, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Nevis Aquatic and Sailing Center – Oualie Beach.
This one-day event will seek to teach children between the ages of 5 and 16 about the importance of the marine environment and the need to care for the environment.
The day will be packed with beach activities such as games, art and craft, demonstrations, beach clean-up exercises and in-water swimming lessons.
Parents are kindly asked to provide their children with refreshments and lunch. The registration fee is $10.00 per child.
The fee can be paid at the Department of Youth, located on the 2nd Floor of the Reliable Motors Mini-plex.
Parents are asked to be prepared to attend a meeting on April 1st, 2021 at the E.T.W. Park. Preference will be given to children who have never participated in any program of Swim to Win.
