The action continued in the Primary Schools’ Football league on Tuesday 3rd November when St.Thomas’ Primary engaged the Elizabeth Pemberton Primary, on home turf.
Urged on by a screaming and supportive cast of parents; teachers and students, the St.Thomas’ team, got the impetus to score a crucial goal towards the end of the final half.
At half time, the scoreline was 1 goal-all and there was tension at the St.Thomas’ playing field.
The final score was St.Thomas’ 2 and EPPS 1.
Scoring for the STPS team were: Al Newton; and Tiarrie Sargeant
Scoring for the EPPS team was Khaleel Glasgow.
Meanwhile, in another exciting match played on Friday 30th October, St.Thomas’ Primary drew that game 1 goal-all versus a determined St.James’ Primary team.
