(CHARLESTOWN, NEVIS)- The two teams representing the Jocelyn Liburd Primary School gave a reasonable account of themselves and even challenged in some instances, their competitors at the St.Thomas’ Primary School, but in the end were edged out in both the A and B division fixtures.
This as the action continued in the giant malt primary school football championships on Thursday.
Both matches were played at the St.Thomas’ Primary School’s Ground and attracted quite a number of spectators.
In the A team match, St.Thomas’ Primary won by a margin of 1 goal to nil.
The goal scorer for The St.Thomas’ Primary School team was Diquone Hamilton.
In the b division fixture, the St.Thomas’ Primary School team won by a margin of 2 goals to nil.
The goal scorer for the St.Thomas’ team was Shevon Jeffers who hit the back of the net twice.
