St. Maarten to reopen to United States July 15

Flights between the United States and St. Maarten are set to resume as of July 15, following a prolonged suspension.

The country’s airspace was scheduled to reopen to US flights as of July 1. This date was pushed back two weeks due to the high number of COVID-19 cases in the US.

St. Maarten will continuously review countries it reopens to based on recommendations from its Ministry of Public Health, Social Development and Labour VSA.

“Since March, we’ve all been staying home, wearing masks, and social distancing for the safety of all our citizens, and our visitors. The time away has been a bitter moment for all of us, but The Friendly Island is proud to announce that we’ll soon be welcoming back our international visitors to our beautiful shores. We kindly ask our visitors to read our safety protocol and travel requirements below before traveling to St. Maarten. See you soon!”
