St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Association (SKNRA) is proud to announce the establishment of a dedicated commission responsible for the successful formation of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Robotics Association.

This groundbreaking initiative marks a significant step forward in fostering collaboration, innovation, and technological advancement across the OECS region.

The OECS Robotics Association aims to unite member states in a common pursuit of leveraging robotics and automation technologies to drive economic growth, educational enrichment, and sustainable development.

By facilitating cross-border partnerships and knowledge sharing, the association seeks to harness the power of robotics for the betterment of the entire Eastern Caribbean community.

The newly appointed commission, comprised of experts, educators, and industry leaders in robotics and automation, will be responsible for coordinating efforts to finalize the establishment of the OECS Robotics Association.

Their key tasks include defining the association’s objectives, developing its governing structure, and outlining a roadmap for collaborative initiatives that promote the adoption and integration of robotics technologies.

“As we stand on the cusp of a new technological era, it is essential for us to come together as a region to harness the potential of robotics and automation,” said Dr Ricardo Neil, Chairman and founder of SKNRA.

“The OECS Robotics Association will serve as a hub for innovation, research, and knowledge exchange, propelling our member states toward a brighter and more technologically empowered future.”

The establishment of the OECS Robotics Association underscores the commitment of the participating nations to embrace technological advancement and ensure that the region remains competitive on the global stage.

By fostering a supportive ecosystem for robotics research, development, and education, the association aims to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of driving the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The commission is set to work diligently over the coming months to draft the association’s foundational framework, solicit input from stakeholders, and establish partnerships that will drive the association’s success.

Further details about the association’s objectives, membership criteria, and initial projects will be shared as they are developed.
