BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, APRIL 11TH 2014 – The St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board says it will soon publish relevant details of the activities of its Tribunal deliberations.
In a statement, the Board said that the appeals process in relation to challenges to its decisions regarding benefits is alive and well is in keeping with the provisions of the Social Security (Determination of Questions) Regulations.

The Board stated that since the formal installation of the Tribunal in 2010, a number of cases have been heard and decided.
The Board disclosed that Tribunal has now recently held sittings on both in St. Kitts and in Nevis during the period of 2nd and 3rd April 2014 to consider certain matters that were brought by claimants for its adjudication.
“In due course, the Social Security Board will publish relevant details of the activities of the Tribunal for general information,” the statement said.
