Charlestown-Nevis- The 11th annual dance production to be hosted by the well-known SHEKHINAH DANCE THEATER, will be held for two consecutive nights, on Friday 6th July and Saturday 7th July.
Three of the dancers, in representing the group, recently spoke to what is in store for the general public.
Representing the well-known dance group were: Eulani Pemberton; Tasai Pemberton and Shantel Rowe.
The theme for this year’s performance which will be held at the Nevis Performing Arts Center (NEPAC), is: ‘Unlocking the greatness in you-restoring hope.’
The dancers are promising a superlative show, with a number of guest artiste performances, but stopped short of revealing who the guest artistes will be.
‘Come and see,’ was the gentle admonition.
It was pointed out that the dancers have been practising since February and so on the night they are all set ‘to bring it.’
The dancers also had much commendations for leader and founder of the group, Mrs. Tamecia Lestrade, who is currently ill.
They noted that she is kind and loving and holds the group together, like a family.
As a matter of fact, she is commonly referred to by group members as ‘Aunty Tamecia.’
The production on each night will start promptly at 7 pm and will cost adults $20.00 and children $15. 00, if the tickets are purchased in advance.
Tickets are available from members of the group.
