After a very active year, the seniors on Nevis enjoyed a fitting climax, with an awards ceremony and grand luncheon, which was held at the Pond Hill Community Center on Tuesday 12th December.
The athletes who competed in the senior’s sports meet, held earlier in the year, received their medals.
Presentations were made by Hon. Jahnel Nisbett, Minister in the NIA with responsibility for the seniors.
The Lilac team which was the champion team for the sports day, also received their winning trophy.
The atmosphere was lively throughout and it was obvious that the seniors thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
